Oxbridge Admissions Coaching and Biology and Chemistry Tutoring service led by an Oxford Biochemistry Graduate and Medical Writer

Hi! I am Elvi Nimali, an Oxford biochemistry graduate, professional medical writer, tutor and the face and founder of Elvis Oxford Admissions and Tutoring. 

Our teaching/coaching philosophy:

1) Free consultation to understand your Oxbridge application needs and academic strengths and weaknesses
2) Personalised structured session plans  - each lesson is uniquely tailored to the students academic interests and relevant stage of the admission process 

3) Encourage independent university-level learning through the sharing of scientific literature as required reading before lessons

4) All student work is reviewed thoroughly before the session with detailed feedback provided in written form and expanded upon verbally during the session

5) Post-session work to reinforce learning and prepare for the next session

6) Oxbridge tutorial style teaching approach - students are asked challenging questions to test knowledge and ensure engagement is maintained 

7) Bridge the knowledge gap between A-Level/IB and first/second year of university - session content integrates material across medicine, statistics, biology and chemistry where appropriate

My goal is to unlock the talent and passion within aspiring life science students like you to provide you with the greatest chance of success during the Oxford or Cambridge University application process. I believe all hardworking and passionate students, regardless of their socioeconomic background or nationality, can succeed in their application to Oxbridge.

In addition to my extensive experience of Oxford admissions coaching and tutoring, I provide communications expertise through my professional experience as a medical and scientific writer in medical communications agencies. I remain up to date with the latest scientific and medical developments and can guide you on how to most effectively and communicate your the passion and knowledge you have for your subject through your personal statement and interview. In addition, I have made some useful application resources freely available here. 

Whilst my area of speciality is Biochemistry and related subject applications, I work with a partner network of expert graduates in other subjects. Please enquire for other science and humanities subjects.
